Boxing promoter and Arsenal fan Frank Warren made a public appeal to Brazilian superstar Neymar, urging him to join Arsenal. The exchange happened during a boxing match between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol in Saudi Arabia, where Neymar was seen in the audience seated next to Warren.
Pointing to Neymar, Warren said, “He’s coming to England. He’s coming and he’s going to play for Arsenal. When are you coming to Arsenal? We need you!”
Although Neymar did not verbally respond, he smiled at Warren’s plea. The 32-year-old, currently playing for Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia, is recovering from a knee ligament injury, with his contract running until 2025.
Whether Neymar has any plans to move to the Premier League remains unknown, but the idea certainly entertained fans and Warren alike.
